Song is a first-generation Hmong American designer and textile enthusiast. Inspired by her mother and background in Fashion Design and Asian American Studies, she created Dearsong to explore, navigate, and celebrate the experiences of her bicultural identity. Song is empowered by storytellers and keepers of past and present generations, seeking timelessness with the artisan’s heart and hands. Her work has allowed her to meet full-circle with her community, creating meaningful pieces for clients to commemorate timestamp moments. She operates Dearsong using sustainable textile practices to ensure a healthy contribution to the movement of her community and the greater society. She is grateful and honored to have served the Central Valley and surrounding areas for 10 years!
